| Jim’s name is synonymous with luxury real estate in Laguna Beach and
along the South County coast. After thirty-two years in the market, his
incomparable local expertise and connections have put him on the speed
dials of Hollywood stars, directors, producers, and seasoned real estate
investors worldwide. He holds the Chairman’s Circle Platinum
designation, putting him in the top two percent of all Prudential agents
nationwide. Previously, Jim owned and managed two successful real estate offices in Laguna Beach, Chateau Pageant and The Chateau Company, for twelve years. He later opened and was a silent partner in Strada Properties in Laguna Beach. Despite his status, Jim’s style is resolutely hands-on. “When you hire someone for his specific expertise, that’s the person you should be working with,” he says. Jim treats his clients to the most attentive service and comprehensive strategic real estate planning, from identifying desirable neighborhoods and developing targeted home tour itineraries to designing an aggressive marketing campaign and leveraging his vast network of contacts on their behalf. After years of remodeling and reselling high-end properties, Jim has a finely tuned talent for assessing value and potential. Many of his clients are designers, and many settings he’s created with them have been featured on the cover of Architectural Digest. Jim followed two years of active duty in the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam era with four years of study at California State University at Fullerton. These experiences, together with his background in competitive sports, taught him the importance of determination and stamina. Once ranked as the number one diver in California, he trained for the Mexico Olympics. He’s also a tournament-level golfer. Jim holds the Prudential Chairman’s Circle Platinum designation, reserved for the top two percent of all Prudential agents nationwide. In the most recent of his many awards, he was named 2007 Top Producer for Production and Transactions in the Laguna Beach office.
